Need a fresh pair of eyes? This 30-minute Comms On Call session gives you quick, constructive and confidential feedback from a fellow comms professional. It’s a space to sense-check ideas and talk through your plans without pressure. Add an extra €25.00 if you’d like additional written feedback on a document of your choice.

Strategy: €85.00

Stuck on a tough communications challenge? Hesitating to hit send on a big deliverable for a client? Use Comms On Call to get an immediate and confidential second opinion from an experienced comms strategist. In this 45-minute session, we’ll help you clarify your direction, strengthen your approach and move forward with confidence.

Leadership: €250.00

Carrying leadership responsibility for clients, teams or major projects? This 45-minute Comms On Call session connects you with a peer who understands the current realities of senior nonprofit comms. It’s a confidential space to reflect on decisions, refine your approaches and get insights from a Principal Consultant who knows the sector inside out.

How does Comms on Call work?

Comms on Call is a simple online service designed to help you unblock communications challenges quickly and confidently, whether you’re freelancing, part of a team, or leading comms at your organisation. To book, choose your session (Tactics, Strategy, or Leadership), book a time instantly using the calendar link for that session and then check your inbox for your confirmation email, which includes: a short 2-minute context form so we can prepare in advance and a payment link to secure your session. Please send any optional materials (drafts/links) up to 48 hours before the session.

How do I pay?

After you book your session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a payment link. You can pay by debit/credit card, bank transfer, or Wise.

How do I know the session is confidential?

All Comms on Call consultants sign a confidentiality agreement in advance. This acts like an NDA, meaning they cannot reveal any information outside of the session. A copy of the agreement is sent to you when you book. If you have any further privacy concerns, please let us know and we will be happy to respond to your needs.

Which session should I choose - Tactics, Strategy, or Leadership?

Each session is designed to help with a specific type of challenge. We will match you with a consultant whose experience genuinely fits what you need, whether you’re early in your freelance career, building your portfolio, part of a small nonprofit team, or leading at senior level. Book a Tactics session and you’ll speak to a specialist such as a designer, social media manager or a digital expert who can give practical, hands-on feedback. Choose Strategy if you need to step back, shape your thinking or sense-check direction for a client or organisation. Opt for Leadership and we’ll connect you with a senior consultant who understands the pressures of making senior decisions in nonprofit comms. What is the calibre of the consultants I will be matched with?

AMS works with a trusted pool of communications experts. We only put forward consultants whose work we have seen to be high quality. You will receive your consultant's biography and profile before your session - if you don't think they are a good fit, please tell us and we will find an alternative.
