Outline of the role
Our Media Agency is seeking a Freelance Campaign Manager to join our team remotely and help one of our clients celebrate their 10th anniversary.
The client is a nonprofit who has impacted the lives of over 41,000 forcibly displaced and vulnerable children in the MENA region. We are supporting them to celebrate 10 years of impactful work with a communications campaign including digital and in-person activities (managed by our team remotely).
We are ideally seeking someone from the Syrian, Lebanese or Palestinian community for this role.
This is a contract-based, home-based role, part-time, with an average workload of approximately 2-2.5 days per month between August 2025 and December 2025. While the workload may fluctuate depending on the campaign cycle, you will be expected to manage your own time and work independently to deliver high-quality outputs in line with project and campaign timelines.
This is an exciting and inspiring opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience in communications campaigning.

As a Campaign Manager you will be responsible for enhancing and implementing the 10th anniversary campaign plan for our client. Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Content writing and copywriting
- Developing press kits, press releases, op-eds and media features
- Developing toolkits and other communications materials to support the client in fundraising efforts during the campaign
- Identifying and liaising with potential influencers/public figures to endorse the campaign
- Pitching media outlets and liaising with journalists to secure media coverage for the campaign
- Report to the project manager on a daily basis and attend a weekly meeting with the AMS team and ad-hoc meetings with the client
- Other ad-hoc tasks as seen fit by the project manager and the campaign director.
This role reports to the project manager. You will be supported in all tasks by the friendly, values-driven, international AMS team. Induction training will be provided (ideally beginning in the final week of July, subject to your availability.)
Qualifications
- Language: We work in English (meetings, emails, online chat etc). You need to have fluent or bilingual level English and Arabic (spoken and written) for this role.
- A relevant qualification in Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations or similar fields.
- Strong storytelling skills. Fundraising experience would be a big plus.
- Experience with non-profits, NGOs, and INGOs is a plus.
- Demonstrable PR and/or media relations, campaigning, content development experience.
- Skilled user of Google Docs, Drive, Sheets and Slides. Experience using AI tools for efficient workflow is also an advantage.

- Excellent communicator internally as well as externally.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic. Ability to read and write accurately in French and Spanish or other languages would be an additional advantage.
- Independent worker: You are able to manage your own workload in a home-based setting.
- Organisational skills: This person never misses a deadline; can respond to changing priorities; is able to prioritise work effectively.
- Cultural awareness: You have experience working within diverse teams.
Key terms and conditions
- Time commitment: Approximately 2-2.5 days a week, to be agreed with the successful candidate.
- Compensation: $700 per month. This compensation rate is benchmarked for the Levant region.
- Initial 5-month contract (August to December 2025), with the possibility for extension.
- You must sign up to the AMS Code of Conduct and our safeguarding and AI usage policies.
