What’s a fractional comms and fundraising director?
A fractional director is a temporary, part time leader who joins your team to cover short-term gaps, and/or when you need senior engagement but don’t have the capacity to hire in-house.

All this comes on a totally flexible basis, delivered by someone who’s trustworthy, experienced, fun to work with and can pick up and run with the work straight away. I work remotely from the Netherlands and can travel to you for key moments as needed.
SERVICE AND PRICE GUIDE
You can define the service you need. Some examples and pricing are:
1) Advisory
You have a comms person or team, and would like to add extra senior support and direction. I’ll join you and provide:
- Monthly leadership call(s)
- Prioritisation and strategic guidance
- Monthly action plan and accountability checks with staff
- Review of key donor/stakeholder materials
- Support at major moments (campaigns, board packs, key pitches)
Example monthly investment: €2,000 to €3,500
2) Strategic partner
You need someone to oversee strategy and implementation. I’ll get hands-on with the team and deliver:
- All the Advisory services, plus…
- Quarterly planning and alignment sessions
- Regular involvement with comms and fundraising leads
- Donor communications and stewardship framework
- Messaging and narrative development support
- Implementation support on priority initiatives
- Team mentoring and standards support
Example monthly investment: from €3,500
3) Embedded fractional director
You’ve got a big moment coming up and you need someone senior to lead the communications project – for example, a fundraising campaign, advocacy, or organisational change.
I’ll embed with you and your team, delivering everything listed above, plus:
- Weekly rhythm with leadership or comms lead
- Active ownership of comms planning and accountability
- Hands-on leadership for campaigns and communications moments
- Team leadership and performance support
- Stakeholder and partnership strategy support
- Measurement and board reporting
